iD48’s eight Audient Console mic preamps deliver 68 dB gain, ultralow noise and distortion with a touch of classic analog warmth.

Utilizing the same fully analog and discrete mic-preamp circuit design found in Audient's renowned recording console, the ASP8024-HE, the iD48 brings real analog-console mic preamps on your desktop.

Hybrid Workflow: Switchable Insert Routing for Outboard Integration

Utilizing D-sub connections, iD48 provides eight fully balanced inserts, letting you integrate your favorite outboard FX prior to conversion, while giving you the cleanest signal path possible.

iD48’s switchable insert routing enables you to select which source is feeding the ADC path. This enables you to choose whether to send the Audient Mic Preamp or a DAW output to your outboard on a per-channel basis and all without having to plug or unplug cables.

For users wanting to record external analog mic preamps, iD48’s returns let you bypass the Audient Mic Preamp, giving you a clean and direct conversion path for recording.
