This is a truly incredible little amp! the half watt of power produced is plenty loud for practice and shines in the recording studio. It's like having a half watt marshall in a pedal!!! But it's a REAL amp.
As with all Z.Vex effects, it's just as much a work of art as it is functional! You'll want to have this amp on display when you're not rockin out!
They could have made this a much simpler product, but Z Vex always provides great features. On the Nano Amp you get 2x 3-way toggles for different levels of thickness and voicing as well as a bright switch and single volume knob to dial in the volume (and of course, amazing british-style overdrive!)
This is an essential studio amp. Try it with an extention cab and blow some minds! You can even use the internal speaker for quick jams, (yes, a little plastic speaker is built-in) but don't get too excited, it's just a plastic speaker! none-the-less, Sound Pure can not say enough great things about this little marvel of an amp in pedal form.
If you have any questions about it at all, we highly encourage you to call or email us! We always stock Z Vex Effects and would be happy to help you find the right gear for your guitar rig!
This little marvel is a one-half watt (distorted) powerhouse that will surprise you with its apparent volume. Plug it into a 4X12 (or any 8 to 16 ohm speaker) and listen to it roar! This amp is voiced to deliver classic rock tone, with a very high level of crunch available if it's wanted. Just crank the volume knob around to the level of distortion you desire, from a very quiet (one tenth watt) clean mode to a micro-Marshall (TM) blast when cranked up. I am making myself a little ill (gag!) trying to describe the tone of my Nano, using the same tired old phrases that all the amp and distortion box makers use, but I think it's true... it does a great job of emulating big amps at very reasonable volumes, which makes it exceptionally nice for recording.
