This particulr shmear finish is a shop favorite! From a distance it almost looks like natural dark wood. Up close you see all the swirling colors, and man, does it look amazing! The pearl pickguard is a perect compliment to this outstanding "super-strat". There's something about the satin shmear finishes that allow the guitar to resonate a lot more than standard gloss finished guitars. This Studio Elite sounds great unplugged and then sounds better than most super-strats plugged in! Here's why-

The lead rhythm circuit provides just the right amount of pickup variations without going overboard. All flicks of the toggles provide a usable and organic tonal quality that similar brands can't quite match.

The frets are tall and thick, perfect for bending til you can't bend no more! The quarter-sawn maple neck is as smooth as can be. You won't want to put this baby down!
