This one of a kind snare features a seldomly used walnut tonewood from Pork Pie. The Walnut shell provides a full body note with a little more low end than maple. The medium and lower tuning really showcase and maximize the full body tone. As with all Pork Pie snare drums, clarity and sensitivity are never an issue and the ten lug configuration will help you find your tuning sweet spot with ease.

In 1987, Bill Detamore started making drums as a hobby. He sold one, made two more, and so on. This evolved into some of the finest handmade drums available today. To take snare drums one step further, he introduced solid (one piece), exotic wood stave and plate brass designs. Pork Pie has also introduced their Little Squealer and Hip Pig series of drums to round out the line.
