The McPherson 4.0XP is an acoustic guitar made with a Redwood top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. This powerhouse guitar offers warmth and richness, pronounced in the lower-mids, yet still produces a lot of volume and an overall balanced warm tone. The Madagascar Rosewood is about as close as you can get to the old Brazilian Rosewood. The XP, or extra presence option, is a slightly enlarged sound hole. This gives the guitar a bit more presence out front. This guitar shines in the studio due to its consistent evenness. The neck and action are also extremely comfortable. Please call Sound Pure about the McPherson 4.0 or any other guitars in our inventory. 888.528.9703

Combining two amazing tone woods, this offering from McPherson has beautiful Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and a Redwood top. We find this guitar to have pronounced lower-mids and an overall balanced warm tone. Check out the grain on the back! This is just as much a work of art as it is a wonderful acoustic instrument. We welcome questions as there are many details to go over on these acoustic guitars.
