The RE200 from Evans Custom Amplifiers delivers rich jazz guitar tone in a light and portable package. The signature Evans sound has defined lows, warm, punchy midrange, and harmonically complex highs. The string separation is extraordinarily even for chord playing. The RE200 is known for it's versatility. Solid archtops, flat tops, and solid body electric guitars all sound amazing through this amp. This is quite possibly the best tone and feel I've seen on any AR905 that has come through the shop! The neck and fretwork are impeccable, and the setup was perfect right out of the box. The tone is superb, and the projection and resonance of this guitar can definitely compete with many that cost thousands more!
This guitar doesn't only sound and feel amazing, it looks beautiful too! The flamed maple body is absolutely stunning on this piece, and under close examination you can see some really intricate patterns in the wood grain. If you are looking for a boutique custom shop archtop with a budget price, it doesn't get much better than this! Contact Sound Pure today for more information on this one-of-a-kind archtop!
