Pure acoustic tone from this custom shop archtop by Eastman! With no pickup or pickguard and a set of bronze acoustic strings, this instrument is an acoustic machine! The warm, punchy midrange and full low-end provide plenty of support for the clear, pure tone of the upper register. If you've been looking for an acoustic archtop for traditional jazz, big band, or dixieland flavors, look no further! This AR905 nails the chunky rhythm quality of players like Freddie Green and the fluid lyricism of gypsy jazz virtuosos like Django Reinhardt. Aside from being a versatile jazz instrument, it also makes a wonderful alternative for flattop acoustic players! The AAA grade flamed maple back and sides are truly amazing, and the ebony tailpiece and flamed maple binding make this 905 look as beautiful as it sounds.
