The Silent Sister SS-1 recording isolation speaker cabinet by Rivera attacks one of the greatest challenges for musicians: how to get an amplified guitar tone at a low level! This cabinet relieves air pressure through a built in air labyrinth in the back side of the cabinet which attenuates the sound level while relieving the sealed compartment air pressure drawbacks. The panels inside the SilentSister are designed to relieve standing waves and reflections. The cabinet has two pre-wired microphone goose necks to allow for mic placement, handles and wheels for easy transportation, and two Neutrik XLR connectors on the back for signal connection. This isolation cabinet is designed for home and studio recording as well as live performances. What we think:

Stunning flame top on this City Limits (CL) model from Collings. Extremely lightweight, yet made of solid mahogany with a flamed maple top. No corners were cut with this design! This guitar really brings elegance to the stage and studio.

I find the overall feel to be solid, with a comfy neck that's a little beefier than average, providing a great tonal balance and confident feel. and nothing beats the open airy vintage inspired tone of those Lollar humbuckers! Great choice! This guitar really speaks to me.
