From Avid
HD I/O is the next‐generation flagship audio interface for Pro Tools|HD, delivering higher fidelity audio and
lower latency performance than its predecessor, the 192 I/O. HD I/O offers 16 channels of I/O, and comes
in one of three configurations to provide ultimate flexibility:
• 8x8x8: 8 analog I/O and 8 digital I/O
• 16 x 16 analog
• 16 x 16 digital
HD I/O also comes with a newly designed high quality soft‐knee analog limiter feature, Curv, which catches
fast transients and allows for tracking hotter signals. HD I/O moves beyond the market competition by
delivering best‐in‐class digital audio conversion and clocking that integrates into Pro Tools HD software and
offering the most flexible I/O arrangement
