The UK Sound 176 Single Channel Compressor is a fresh take on the classic 1176 style compressor, offering a high quality replica at a very friendly price point.

The 176 has very simple controls providing a huge sound, with adjustable settings for Input, Ratio, Attack, Release and Output. Just like a classic 1176, the input doubles up as the threshold control, allowing you to adjust the output gain sending the perfect level to your DAW or Tape Machine. Ratios vary from 4:1, 8:1, 12:1 and 20:1. By engaging the "!" switch, you will activate the legendary "all buttons in" mode, a great tool for adding layers of excitement and depth to any source.

Also included is a SC filter that will allow the lower frequencies to pass through without engaging the compressor, resulting in a much more transparent sound.
