Plug-In EQs

  Equalizers (EQs) allow engineers to add slight filtering of unwanted frequencies or distortion from their mix, in order to receive a more desired harmonic tone. EQs can help fix audio problems that deal with sibilance (a hissing sound that’s normally present when hearing ‘S’s” in a persons vocals) or plosives (otherwise known as popping “P’s”).
