Each audio production class will focus on the tracking, editing, and mixing of a specific genre of music.  The class will emphasize the different approaches for recording each artist, group, and genre.  Mic technique and placement will be discussed as well as preamp and processing selection.  Production techniques that relate to each piece of music will be explored.

End of Season Mix Session: In the final class of the season we will take a listen to all the projects recorded over the Jan- May class sessions and discuss mixing techniques relating to the different genres.  Everything from compression techniques to time based effects will be discussed.  Learn the art of mixing and how it applies to Jazz, Rock, R&B, and Classical.
