Sebatron VMP 4000e 4 Channel Tube Mic Pre, from Sebatron

The Sebatron VMP-series Tube microphone preamps are used to track acoustic guitars in a recording studio with a variety of microphones including Earthworks, Mojave, and Telefunken Microphones. While we use the Sebatron VMP4000e preamp, it utilized the identical tube pre circuitry as in the 2000e and 2000e VU mic preamps. Each preamp's impressive warmth is attainable without a loss in detail typical of most preamps. Additionally the preamp features some excellent EQ functionality, and the creative ability to drive the unit in different ways to move from transparent more subtle tube coloration to much greater saturation and color (by engaging the pad circuit which exists prior to the tube gain stage).
