What we think:

They've taken the H13 model as a foundation and just blown the roof off with this guitar. Italian Red Spruce has to be the best sounding top wood for an acoustic guitar in the world. Combine that with the bold Madagascar Rosewood and you've got a formidable guitar. This instrument is about as dynamic as they come. The sound can be soft and smooth or loud and aggressive. It's wonderful for fingerstyle, flatpicking, or strumming. Otis Taylor himself did come play this one for us in the studio when he was passing through. Check out the vid!

Otis Taylor is one of the most innovative "Trance Blues" artists of our time. With that in mind it was important that the Otis Taylor Signature Model be a very special guitar. It is a nod to vintage instruments with a taste of the modern. This collaboration has produced a musical instrument that truly reflects the artistry of both Otis Taylor and Santa Cruz Guitar Company.

Constructed of rare Madagascar Rosewood with an Italian Spruce top tinted with a custom color, Adirondack Spruce bracing with Hot Hide Glue, and a compound radius fretboard that is topped off with Otis Taylors initials.

A bold and beautiful instrument that is timeless, just like Otis Taylor's music.
