On May 21, 2009 The Beast joined Grammy nominee Nnenna Freelon for a charity event in support of the Durham Arts Council at Sound Pure Studios. Following an interactive recording demonstration, The Beast capped off the evening with a performance for the attendees in which they premiered two original songs, including this one entitled Catalyst. This footage captures the intimate live show, recorded in one take and mixed at Sound Pure.
