SoundPure's Eddie Berman teaches an abridged approach to playing a 1-3-4-5 chord change in the key of E. Using a John Suhr Pro Series C1 3 Tone Sunburst guitar linked to an Oldfield Custom Head and 1x12 Cab by a Vovox Sonorus Instrument Cable, Eddie demonstrates the chord change in both the classic "bar chord" fingering and in a condensed method. This lesson shows the viewer the sonic flexibility a guitarist can gain from learning both progressions, and opens up the player to a wide range of possibilities on the fretboard. What we think:

If you love blackface-style designs, you should play this amp--you might just realize what you've been missing! The tone is buttery smooth and honestly this may be one of my favorite amps in the showroom right now. Humbuckers sound full, but not boxy at all. The definition of pitch is astounding, and even with such amazing clarity you don't lose any of the warmth or character of the tone. Even dense chords come out clean and sparkly, and with just the right amount of harmonic content to really make you hang on every note. Single coils really sing through this amp, and in combination with your favorite strat or tele you will fit perfectly in the mix of just about any playing situation.

At 40 watts, you have plenty of clean headroom and it takes pedals extremely well. If blackface Deluxe tones are your thing, it just doesn't get much better than this!
