The new MF-104M Analog Delay Pedal from Moog is more than just an attempt to revisit the now discontinued MF-104 line of Analog Delay Pedals, it is an answer to our prayers, a revelation. Not only does it provide all the same utility of it's predecessors, but takes into account everything that was missing or desired from its' devoted loyalists. 800 MS of Analog Delay, a new 6 Waveshape LFO, complete MIDI control, amazing new capabilities with a Tap Tempo function and the amazing new Spillover Mode all round out this incredible achievement in audio engineering. With the pedal set to Spillover, you can control whether your delay trails continue after bypassing the delay or come to a stop, all completely on the fly. Not to mention, it's all Moog Analog Delay, the best of the best, smother than smooth, beyond comparison to any other analog delay out there. These pedals even utilize the same vintage "Bucket Brigade" chips that were so few in number in the past. CV/Expression Pedal inputs on the rear panel provide hands free control and manipulation of Time, Rate, Feedback, Amount, and Mix. As is the case with all Moogerfoogers, you can connect Moog EP2 expression pedals to any of these CV/Expression inputs to control functions, or connect other Moog Pedals and create entirely new sonic landscapes. The Feedback Insert also provides further utility, if you want to patch in other stomp boxes or outboard effects onto the same line as the delay, opening up even more flexibility with whatever you want to create. This amazing Analog Delay Pedal from Moog will only be available for a short time, don't miss out on your chance to own a piece of Analog history! Jim Soloway has been making hand-crafted guitars that provide something a little different than your normal electric guitar, and this iteration of the Soloway Swan is no exception. Fitted with a longer 27-inch scale length, and a longer neck to fit the larger scale-length, hence the "Swan" moniker. This guitar is also very unique in using Oregon Myrtle for the top-wood, something you don't see too often, but also provides some really full-bodied and transparent tonal qualities specific to this kind of wood. With such a larger scale length, and a longer neck, it would be easy to say that playing this guitar would be more difficult to do when using complicated chords or intervals, but that is not the case at all. Even at the bottom of the neck, those tricky chords and spaced out intervals can still be easily reached with the Swan's thin neck profile, flat fingerboard radius and larger frets to accomodate the player with the added length in scale. Also, with the added length the Swan from Soloway Guitars operates great in lower tunings, but is actually intended to be played in standard tunings, to really achieve the presence, articulation and clarity that defines this beautiful guitar. Thanks to our very own Electric Guitar Expert Jared for helping us to show how great this Soloway can really sound. Call SoundPure today for any questions about this gorgeous Electric Guitar from Soloway Guitars, or about any other gear used in this video 919-682-5552. What we think:

I loved the original MF-104Z Analog Delay that Moog put out. Incredible tone and versatility. I was dissapointed when that pedal was discontinued. It seemed to be one of the best pedals Moog has ever made. Right when we were losing hope that a delay would be in Moog's future, they announce the MF-104M that has a slightly more affordable price tag, and a ton of great new features that we would have wanted on the original.

Tap Tempo is essential for adjusting tempo on the fly. This is a key element of live performance to match a drummers groove

MIDI opens up a world of possibilites and tones you may have never heard from any other unit.

Spill-Over was only available as a mod that cost extra on previous pedals. really cool feature that allows the decay of the effect to continue without effecting the other pedals you may have on

And I'm sure there aren't any other delay units out there that have such a crazy array of options from an LFO with my favorite "random" setting that you can speed up, slow down, and take in and out the amount of the effect.

It's just plain nutty! You need to hear it to believe it. Call or Email and I'd be happy to go into further detail about how this pedal sounds when put into context for the guitarist looking to expand your tonal pallet

Description:

Improvement upon the original MF-104Z with Tap Tempo, MIDI, LFO and Spill-Over!

Originally designed by Bob Moog and released in 2000, the Classic MF-104 Analog Delay was manufactured as a limited edition release of 1000 units. A special "Bucket Brigade” delay chip was employed allowing the effect to remain completely analog. Unfortunately, the supply of these chips was limited and the final MF-104 sold in 2001. Since then there have been two reissues of the Classic MF-104, the MF-104Z and the MF-104SD. In that time, each has been added to a short list of the most sought after analog delays in history.

The MF-104M recreates the sound and vibe of the Classic MF-104. It even uses the same vintage “Bucket Brigade” delay chips found in the original, which provide 800ms of the richest, creamiest, all analog delay on the planet.

A new 6 Waveshape LFO significantly expands the sonic capabilities of this Classic Analog Delay. Use it to create expansive delays that transport you through time, beautifully modulate the delay trails, or create sounds and delays that are  simply out of this world.

Spillover Mode has been the most popular modification to the MF-104 and is now included in the MF-104M. Decide on the fly whether delay trails end or continue when you disengage the Delay.

A dedicated Tap Tempo switch lets you quickly tap in your Delay Time or LFO Rate, and the addition of MIDI brings a new world of control and function to the MF-104M. Use it to control and manipulate every function on and under the hood. It’s also a great way to incorporate an analog delay into your studio productions.

Rear panel features include CV/Expression Pedal inputs which provide hands free control and manipulation of Time, Rate, Feedback, Amount, and Mix. Like all Moogerfoogers, you can connect Moog EP2 expression pedals to any of these CV/Expression inputs to control functions, or connect other Moogerfoogers and create new effects.

Additionally, the Feedback Insert allows you to patch in other stomp box or outboard effects onto the delay line for even more creative flexibility.

The MF-104M will be available for a limited time, so grab this piece of Analog history before it’s gone forever-forever-forever-forever!
