Some killer Fuzz from the Fulltone '70 Pedal, bringing the vintage sound of the 1970 FuzzFxxe alive. Fulltone Effects says: "...this pedal is a bit unruly but with some warmth... ideal for older 4 input Marshall amps, it has much more FUZZ than the '69 Pedal and includes a Mid control for extra clarity and cut." Listen for it in this video.... Played by Chris Boerner into a McInturff Carolina Standard Lemonburst, out of a Fargen Blackbird 20 Watt

What we think:

We now have our hands on a modern instrument that does the best Les Paul's of the late 50's justice. He went after it, and he nailed it.

Wow! We knew about Terry's reputation before we became a dealer of his but this instrument has surpassed all expectations. The first thing you notice is the weight of the instrument. It's perfect for this style guitar. It's not too heavy, so it won't break your back. The Peter Florance Voodoos have plenty of bark to them but maintain a great clarity. The guitar is very balanced top to bottom. Lows are not muddled and highs are not thin. The mids are perfect and don't get lost like with many current pauls. The neck is very comfortable too. Hats off to Terry for such great work!

Description:

After years of putting it off, Terry finally gave in to all of his fans saying, "When are you going to build a Les Paul style guitar?" Behold his latest creation, The Carolina Standard. This instrument is the result of a careers' worth of research on what makes a great Les Paul great. This guitar is identical to a great Les Paul in weight, dimension, and tone. And we're not talking about something you pull off the shelf new right now. We're talking about vintage instruments, some of which cost in the six figure range right now. Terry has worked very hard on this model and has put the prototype into many famous hands before settling on this final result.
