What We Think

Perfectly rounded edges, exotic flamed binding, attention to every little detail, and my favorite acoustic guitar tone, ever! I can't say enough great things about this concert model Goodall! To me, it doesn't get much better than a Goodall acoustic guitar. It's an honor to have this guitar in the shop. I'm positive it will be sold soon and that will be a sad day for me, but one of the best days of the new owners life! Let those overtones ring! play it til it can't be played

Goodall Grand Concert Cutaway Acoustic Guitar - Quick n’ Dirty

The Goodall Grand Concert has an astonishing sound that serves any sort of player. It does not compromise and truly sings what you tell it to, even with its smaller stature. While the Grand Concert series is considered ideal for the fingerstylist due to its sensitive, dynamic responsiveness, it is equally appropriate for the flatpicker or plectrum player. It is used by Bluegrass flatpickers and has surpassed traditional dreadnought guitars with respect to power, clarity, sustain and projection. This guitar is available for SoundPure’s Try-Before-You-Buy, so if you want to hear how it sounds in your studio, shoot us an email at Acoustics@SoundPure.com or give us a call anytime at 919.682.5552. Thanks for watching!

Manufacturer's Description from Goodall

The Grand Concert series is one of the world's most perfect guitars!

The Grand Concert series, recently refined and beautifully proportioned, is everything you can imagine and more. A wonderful blend of clarity and balance with punch and a smooth, rich bass. This instrument is larger than the Parlor and smaller than the Concert Jumbo. It has a singing, lyrical treble with excellent sustain and is comfortable to hold. Though a small guitar, the Grand Concert does not exhibit the tight, nasal tonal quality in the midrange and bass associated with smaller guitars.
