16" archtop with floating pickup, tailpiece, and bridge.
This is one of the most delightfully balanced AR805CEs I've played in the shop. It feels remarkably smooth all the way up and down the neck and there is a distinct lack of dead spots or inconsistency in tone throughout the entire range of the instrument. This is one of those situations where the player can really hone in on their touch and know that the instrument will faithfully respond to whatever style or phrasing the hands can muster. The back is absolutely gorgeous and the Classic finish is carefully applied with superb attention to detail. This level of quality in guitar building is nearly impossible to find at this price point, and whoever walks with this one is getting a really special handmade instrument that will only improve over time.
