What we think:
This thing's gotta' better balance than an Olympic gymnist! I tried out a little run on the treble strings first, and they were loud and round. The didn't give an inch (that's a good thing). The neck profile relaxes my hand like A/C on a hot day and the maple binding of the fretboard is certainly easy on the eyes.
It stacks notes like snowflakes; always unqiue but equally beautiful. I love Engelmann so much it hurts.

This is an extremely versatile and beautiful guitar. Even the mahogany neck is flamed!

The 8-series has been discontinued. The 8-series were, and remain, the highest quality acoustic guitars made by Eastman. We are not sure why they decided to discontinue, but our best guess is that they ran out of Engelmann Spruce at a good price!
