The Eastman AC520 boasts some of the finest sound and craftsmanship of any instrument in its price range. We are pretty amazed at the quality of the Eastman Flattop guitars overall. Eastman Guitars has the only luthiers in the biz (that we know of, anyway) that is producing all solid wood, handmade guitars in this price range. They perform like instruments that cost twice as much, and more. You don't expect wood binding on a guitar that sells in the $1k price range, do you? These handcrafted dreadnaughts are built using solid, select, highly figured tonewood backs and sides coupled with only the finest spruce tops, these X-Braced guitars are finished off with abalone soundhole rosettes and position markers, gold plated hardware, ebony headstock overlays, ebony fingerboards, ebony bridge pins, and multiple maple bindings on the body, neck and headstock. We are a proud dealer of Eastman Acoustic and Archtop Jazz Guitars here at Sound Pure and eagerly await your call or inquiry so we can tell you all about our experiences here with them. The impressive Mojave MA201 FET records some impressive acoustic guitar. It has a full, rich, and balanced character that shined through on both a clean Millennia mic preamp, as well as a more colored tube preamp from Sebatron. The MA-201 from Mojave Audio doesn't have the harshness associated with many of the large diaphragm mics currently being built, and proves here to provide detail, without that brassy top end, and instead has a full, rich and well-balanced character. Sound Pure carries the full line of Mojave microphones in addition to owning and using them in our own high end professional recording studios, so please don't hesitate to send us any question that you might have about them.
