What We Think

Gladstone Drum Shells are the product of decades of vintage drum restoration and building from the people at C&C Drums. C&C took their knowledge of ply thickness, configuration, and history of vintage shells, and applied this knowledge to creating these great and unique drum shells. Their standard 6 ply maple shell contains over 30% more wood than a typical 8-ply Keller maple shell. These thicker plies give a lower fundamental tone, which in turn gives a warmer sound.

Complemented with the single-ended Deco lug, this drum performs well across multiple tuning ranges. Clear definition and sparkle throughout the ranges of tuning and enhanced low end from the 7.25" shell depth. Finished with a natural satin finish and chrome hardware, this drum will be a comfortable fit for any live or studio situation.
