Famed jazz guitarist Corey Christiansen consigned this guitar with us and we could not wait for it to arrive at the shop. When a master luthier builds a guitar for a master player, you expect great results--but this piece exceeds even our highest standards of archtop greatness! Corey has taken very good care of this instrument and as a result it has opened up in a very natural way. Through years of playing and nurturing this Virtuoso has gracefully aged to produce some of the richest tones we've heard from any archtop in quite some time.

The woods selected for this one-of-a-kind instrument are absolutely breathtaking, both tonally and visually. The European Cello Top has superior resonance and sustain and the Master Grade Big Leaf Maple back and sides bring with them their lush overtones and stunning appearance. The playability on this piece is top-notch and the amplified sound is a lively, detailed recreation of its natural acoustic tone.
